DateMyAge Privacy Policy

This policy explains what DateMyAge collects when you use the AI girlfriend chat, why we hold it, how long it stays with us and what you can ask us to remove. It applies to datemyage.run and to every companion chat inside it.

1. Who we are

DateMyAge operates the companion chat available at datemyage.run and is the controller of the personal data described here.

2. Accepting this policy

By creating an account or continuing to use DateMyAge you confirm that you have read this policy and agree to the handling of data described in it.

3. Age requirement

DateMyAge is strictly for adults aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors, and any account found to belong to a minor is closed and erased.

4. Account information

When you register we collect an email address, a display name and an encrypted password. That is the minimum needed to give you a private DateMyAge account.

5. Profile preferences

Your chosen companion, personality settings, language and interface preferences are stored so DateMyAge can restore your setup on your next visit.

6. Chat content

Messages you exchange with a companion are stored against your account so the conversation can continue and so memory features work. They are private to you.

7. Companion memory

DateMyAge derives short summaries from your chats (for example, a first name or a stated preference) to keep conversations consistent. You can clear this memory at any time.

8. Media you send

If you upload an image or record a voice note it is stored with the related conversation and removed when that conversation is deleted.

9. Payment data

Card details are handled entirely by our payment providers. DateMyAge receives only a transaction reference, the amount, the currency and the status.

10. Technical data

We log IP address, browser type, device category, operating system, referring page and timestamps. This supports security, fraud prevention and troubleshooting.

11. Usage analytics

Aggregated counts of page views, session length and feature use help us understand which parts of DateMyAge are working. Analytics data is not tied to chat content.

12. Cookies

DateMyAge uses cookies and similar storage for sign-in sessions, security tokens, saved preferences and measurement. Essential cookies cannot be switched off without breaking sign-in.

13. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may sign you out of DateMyAge and reset your interface preferences.

14. Why we process data

We process personal data to deliver the service you requested, to keep accounts secure, to take payment, to meet legal duties and to improve the product.

15. Legal bases

Depending on your location we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent (for optional analytics and marketing) and legal obligation.

16. Marketing messages

We send service emails such as receipts and security alerts. Promotional email only goes out if you opt in, and every message includes an unsubscribe link.

17. Service providers

Hosting, payment processing, email delivery, security screening and analytics are supplied by vetted partners who act on our written instructions only.

18. No sale of personal data

DateMyAge does not sell, rent or trade personal data, and does not share your chat history with advertisers.

19. Legal disclosure

We may disclose data where required by law, court order or a valid request from a competent authority, or to protect the rights and safety of our members.

20. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where that happens we use recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

21. Security measures

We use encryption in transit, encrypted storage for sensitive fields, access controls, activity logging and regular review of our infrastructure.

22. Data retention

Account and chat data is kept while your account is active. After closure it is deleted or anonymised within 90 days unless the law requires us to keep records longer.

23. Access and portability

You may ask for a copy of the personal data DateMyAge holds about you in a commonly used, machine-readable format.

24. Correction and deletion

You may correct inaccurate details from your settings, delete individual conversations, or request full erasure of your account and its history.

25. Objection and restriction

You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, withdraw consent for optional processing, or ask us to restrict processing while a dispute is resolved.

26. Automated processing

Companion replies are generated automatically. This has no legal effect on you and no automated decision affects your access to services or pricing.

27. Third-party links

Pages on DateMyAge may link to external sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for how they handle your information.

28. Complaints

If you believe your rights have been breached you may contact us first and, if still unsatisfied, lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

29. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes are announced on this page with a new revision date before they take effect.
